See what is really happening in your leadership team, in five weeks.

The Team Diagnostic gives a new or changing leadership team an honest, evidence-based picture of how it works under pressure, what it does well, and the few patterns holding it back. You finish with a clear map and a plan you can act on.

How the five weeks run

We ask for a little of each person’s time and very little of yours. Everything people share is confidential and reported only as themes.

  1. Week 1

    Scope and design

A kick-off with you to agree the questions that matter, the stakeholders to hear from, and how we will talk to the team.

  2. Weeks 2–3

    Listen and observe

A confidential 45-minute interview with each team member, a short team survey, input from two or three stakeholders, and one live team meeting observed.

  3. Week 4

    Make sense of it

We turn everything into a Team Map: strengths to protect, the patterns that show up under pressure, and where they come from.

  4. Week 5

    Decide what’s next

A 90-minute debrief with you, then a half-day working session where the team sees its own picture and agrees its priorities.

Questions leaders ask

How much time does it take from my team?

About two hours per person across the five weeks: one interview, a short survey and the half-day working session. Your own time is roughly five hours, including the kick-off and the debrief.

Is what people say kept confidential?

Yes. Interviews are confidential and findings are reported only as themes. No comment is attributed to a person without their explicit agreement.

Is this an assessment of individual performance?

No. The diagnostic looks at the team as a system: how it makes decisions, handles disagreement and works under pressure. It is not used to evaluate individuals.

What happens after the five weeks?

You own the Team Map and the roadmap. Many teams continue into team coaching (6 or 12 months, billed monthly) to put the priorities into practice, but there is no obligation.

Can you work with a team outside the US?

Yes. The diagnostic runs online across time zones, and we work with teams in Europe and Asia-Pacific through our partners.
